​The story unravels when Jessica leaves her hometown and moves in with her best friend Melissa , to Grimstad, to go study at Collinson Academy .

Her life instantly changes when Melissa tells her the truth about who she really is . Between ordinary people and the infinite universe , are the Light ones . Gifted people that hold god- like powers, connected with the wisdom of the universe, are able to utilize and manipulate the energy around them .  The Light ones have made small societies , with academies all around the world , living amongst people and go undetected. Their primary goal is to serve and protect humanity from evil powers . The  Collinson Academy , for the Light ones, is where our story takes place.

Vivian the headmistress of the academy, offers Jessica to join them and offers to teach her how to harness her powers.  Oppossite from the Light ones, are the Dark ones. The Dark ones where once Light, but they have lost their way , started using black magic which led to them  to eventually become tainted with the Darkness . Their once pure energy , is now pure chaos. They are powerful and unpredictable and their primary goal is to deceive humanity and eventually take over.  As Jessica grows stronger with each day , the question of who she really is and who she may become still remains. Will she give in to the Darkeness that runs trough her veins  or will she fight along her friends who trust and believe in her ? Will she find out her true self or will she be lost ?
